내용
To fabricate a litmus film capable of detecting acid vapor leakage, a newly designed triphenylamine (TPA)-based gelator (abbreviated TPA-MA) is newly synthesized. TPA-MA exhibits aggregation-induced emission (AIE) properties when it forms an ordered packing structure by intermolecular interactions. The organogel based on the TPA-MA undergoes gel-sol transition induced by temperature and pH changes, modifying its self-assembled structure, accompanied by changes in fluorescent behavior. Using a monomeric solvent, photopolymerization of the TPA-MA gel enables the production of a mechanically stable litmus film exhibiting switchable luminescence characteristics. The synthesized film exhibits a reversible color change with a fast response time and high mechanical stability. This film can be utilized to intuitively show the leakage of toxic chemical vapors, for human health and safety.
