Conventional LiBs use liquid electrolytes containing highly volatile and flammable organic solvents, thereby posing safety concerns. To address these issues, research has focused on quasi-solid-state polymer electrolytes. Among them, composite polymer electrolytes have attracted attention as they combine the flexibility of polymer electrolytes with the mechanical stability of inorganic particles. In this study, we developed a composite polymer electrolyte containing a high content of polydopamine-coated Al2O3, applied to the graphite anode by means of a transfer coating process. A thin, uniform composite film with an average thickness of less than 15 μm was prepared, which not only enhances energy density but also reduces interfacial resistance. The quasi-solid polymer electrolyte was prepared by means of in-situ thermal crosslinking of a precursor solution containing crosslinker and liquid electrolyte, injected into the transferred composite film.
