내용
Hydrophilic antifogging coatings ensure maintaining optical transparency under humid conditions by promoting filmwise condensation of water vapor to minimize scattering. However, there remains an unmet need for chemically and mechanically durable and spatially controllable antifogging coatings. In this work, we report multilayered hydrophilic polysaccharide-based thin films composed of methacrylated chitosan (CHI-MA) and methacrylated carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC-MA), fabricated via Layer-by-Layer (LbL) assembly. These LbL films exhibit UV-induced photo-crosslinkability, enhancing both the chemical and mechanical stability of the films. Furthermore, spatially selective UV exposure enables high-resolution micropatterning, facilitating the realization of humidity-responsive displays. These durable, photo-patternable antifogging films offer significant potential in applications ranging from smart coatings, sensors, to advanced optical displays.
