내용
Double network (DN) hydrogels are polymeric materials that combine mechanical strength with flexibility. They consist of two interpenetrating networks, one rigid and tightly crosslinked, the other flexible and loosely connected, resulting in excellent toughness and energy dissipation. These features make DN hydrogels attractive for biomedical implants, soft robotics, and wearable devices. Their use in high-precision 3D printing is also gaining interest for advanced medical and microstructured materials. However, challenges such as expensive photoinitiators and complex resin synthesis hinder progress. In this study, we present a simplified method to prepare water-dispersible photoinitiator particles suitable for low-cost DLP 3D printers. By optimizing the co-initiator and surfactant ratio, crystal growth was suppressed, enabling rapid photopolymerization of acrylate groups with high conversion efficiency.
