Aqueous Zinc-ion batteries (ZIBs) have attracted increasing attention as next-generation energy storage devices due to their inherent safety, low cost, and environmental friendliness. However, practical applications are still limited by several challenges, including zinc dendrite formation, electrode corrosion, and poor electrochemical stability caused by the presence of free water in aqueous electrolytes. In this study, a double-network hydrogel electrolyte including a zwitterionic monomer was developed to suppress free water through sulfonate groups, thereby enhancing ion dissociation and electrolyte stability. The hydrogel electrolyte is designed based on a double 3D network structure formed by copolymerizing three key components. Double 3D network sturcutre can retain water molecules and thus provide high ionic conductivity. Additionally, hydrogel exhibits excellent adhesion and superior cycle stability, thereby satisfying the requirements for flexible devices.
