The therapeutic efficacy of cancer immunotherapies is significantly constrained by immunosuppressive tumor microenvironments and immune tolerance mechanisms. This study developed an injectable rod-like delivery system incorporating immune-activating complexes for enhanced immune modulatory capabilities. Biomaterial-based rod-like structures were fabricated and functionalized with polymeric coatings to enable efficient loading of immune-activating complexes. Microscopic examination confirmed successful complex immobilization on structural surfaces. Biocompatibility was established through cytotoxicity assessment, and significantly increased pro-inflammatory cytokines and immune activation biomarkers were detected in immune cells after 24-hour exposure. The delivery platform exhibited robust immune stimulation with minimal cytotoxicity, demonstrating strong potential as a therapeutic vehicle for cancer immunotherapy and offering a promising strategy to address current limitations.
