Polymer solar cells (PSCs) are promising candidates for next-generation photovoltaics due to their flexibility and low production costs. However, their limited charge carrier mobility often necessitates thin active layers (~100 nm), restricting light absorption and overall efficiency. In this study, we introduce semiconducting single-walled carbon nanotubes (s-SWNTs) as additives to enhance charge transport in PSCs. The incorporation of s-SWNTs effectively suppresses carrier recombination and improves mobility, enabling the fabrication of efficient PSCs with thicker active layers. This simple yet effective strategy offers a potential pathway to improve photovoltaic performance and may contribute to the development of scalable, high-efficiency polymer solar cells for future commercialization.
