Molecular additives have been introduced to reduce crystal size and suppress grain boundary defects for efficient perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs). In addition, circularly polarized light-emitting diodes (CP-LEDs) based on quasi-2D halide perovskites incorporating chiral additives have been demonstrated. Here, we present several types of multifunctional additives in minimal quantities for highly efficient or CP PeLEDs. In particular, R-/S-methylbenzylammonium iodide (MBAI) and R-/S-1,1’-binaphthyl-2,2’-diyl hydrogen phosphate (BHP) are incorporated to enhance chiral distortion and perform high circular polarization of PeLEDs. Interestingly, we observed that when the two chiral components had the same handedness, the chiral signals were amplified, whereas opposite handedness led to mutual cancellation.
