This study investigates the accelerated thermal degradation behavior of polypropylene (PP)-based composites for automotive applications and predicts their lifetime using theoretical modeling. Time-dependent variations in tensile and impact strength followed a temperature-dependent Weibull degradation trend, from which an Arrhenius–Weibull combined model was constructed. Statistical reliability analysis and lifetime distribution fitting were performed using Minitab software, and strong correlation between Accelerated Life Testing (ALT) and Accelerated Degradation Testing (ADT) validated the model's applicability. Thermal decomposition was identified as the primary degradation mechanism, and optimal accelerated conditions were established to shorten test duration. This work offers a valuable foundation for lifetime prediction and thermal reliability design of PP-based materials.
