Stretchable light-emitting diodes (LEDs) represent a promising platform for biophotonic technologies, including wearable phototherapy and optogenetic modulation. However, the advancement of such devices is constrained by the absence of electrodes that simultaneously provide high electrical conductivity, mechanical robustness, and long-term reliability. Silver nanowires (AgNWs) offer excellent conductivity but exhibit limited structural stability under strain. Here, we demonstrate MXene/silver nanowire (MXAg) hybrid electrodes that synergistically integrate the superior conductivity of AgNWs with the intrinsic flexibility and robustness of two-dimensional MXenes. The MXene framework facilitates uniform stress distribution, mitigating nanowire fracture and delamination. When incorporated into stretchable LEDs, MXAg electrodes enable stable and reproducible emission under deformation, underscoring their potential as a reliable solution for next-generation biophotonic applications.
