Wearable biosensors enable non-invasive, real-time monitoring of human physiology through dynamic sensing of (bio)chemical markers in sweat, saliva, tears, and interstitial fluid. These platforms offer molecular-level insights into health, stress, and performance in daily life, addressing limitations of traditional blood-based diagnostics. This talk will highlight recent developments in electrochemical wearable biosensors integrated into mouthguards, tattoo patches, and contact lenses, focusing on continuous metabolite monitoring for applications such as diabetes management. It will also introduce a personalization strategy for accurate blood glucose estimation using non-invasive biofluids. Lastly, recent efforts on detecting small molecules using quantum electrochemical sensing with nanoscale molecularly imprinted polymers will be discussed, underscoring the clinical and daily-life impact of wearable point-of-care technologies.
