To investigate the effect of electron transport layers (ETLs) on the charge carrier dynamics of halide perovskite materials, we studied the mixed halide perovskites (AmA’1-mPbXnX’3-n) with fullerene and non-fullerene based ETLs. The charge carrier dynamics were probed using flash-photolysis time-resolved microwave conductivity (FP-TRMC), a non-contact spectroscopic technique to probe photogenerated charge carrier mobility and lifetime on a nanosecond timescale without electrodes. Our result shows that both samples with ETL exhibit efficient charge extraction. We observed distinct charge extraction tendencies between the PVK/C₆₀ and PVK/CN₃ samples. To further analyze the transient behavior, we employed kinetic models to fit the transient TRMC signals and determine charge kinetic rate constants. This comparative analysis reveals distinct carrier kinetics depending on the ETL, thereby informing future strategies for interface engineering in perovskite solar cells.
