내용
We fabricated a three-dimensional continuous membrane with decorated beta-cyclodextrin (β-CD) on its nanopores. The membrane was synthesized using a facile organic sol-gel method with phase separation engineering. In this method, urea-bonded (UN) sols were formed by the polymerization of tetrakis(4-aminophenyl)methane (TAPM) and hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). These UN sols were then sequentially mixed with β-CD and poly(methyl methacrylate). Upon the extraction of PMMA, a 3D continuous nanoporous membrane incorporated with β-CD was formed, as evidenced by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and scanning electron microscope (SEM) imaging. With its nanoporous structure and functions, the developed material possesses diverse applications, including chirality-driven molecular separation and catalysis.
