Composite polymer electrolytes (CPEs) are key to solid-state batteries. In this work, zwitterion and single-ion structures with varying ratios were incorporated into polymer electrolytes to study ion transport and battery performance. Copolymers with different zwitterion–single-ion contents were synthesized and characterized by ¹H NMR, GPC, EDS, and DSC. Blended with PVDF-HFP, they were electrospun into nanofiber membranes with tailored ion concentrations, analyzed by OM, SEM, TEM, and FTIR. PEO was then infiltrated to form CPEs. Electrochemical tests included ionic conductivity, lithium-ion transference number, Li plating/stripping stability, SEI analysis (SEM, XPS), LSV, and LFP half-cell rate and cycling tests. Results show that adjusting functional ion type and ratio significantly enhances lithium-ion transference and cycling stability, highlighting the potential of functional dual-ion design for next-generation lithium batteries.
