Abstract
Multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MCNTs) were a structural platform for the controlled growth of CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs) via a nanoseeding-mediated approach. Lead-based nuclei initially formed on the nanotube surface, followed by introduction of a cesium precursor to support PNC growth. The reaction temperature affected the morphology and optoelectronic properties of the resulting nanohybrids (PNTs). Notably, the presence of MCNTs promoted the formation of larger PNCs with enhanced green photoluminescence and reduced bandgap energy, thereby modulating electronic structure. PNTs exhibited a strong photogating effect and selective photocurrent activation under high-energy ultraviolet exposure, underscoring their potential as optoelectronic transducers. Additionally, the luminescent properties were leveraged for anti-counterfeiting. PNTs were used as black ink to create luminescent QR codes with forgery-resistant pixels, providing a robust strategy for secure authentication.
