Abstract
Stretchable pressure sensors are essential in applications such as stretchable displays and prosthetics. However, conventional stretchable pressure sensors struggle to distinguish between strain and pressure signals, requiring additional processing for data analysis. In this study, we report a strain-insensitive capacitive pressure sensor using a dielectric elastomer with a tunable dielectric constant. This innovation represents a significant advance in the development of stretchable capacitive pressure sensors. This study presents a potential solution for distinguishing between pressure and strain signals by overcoming the inherent challenges of pressure sensors and improving their practicality. This advancement paves the way for the integration of these sensors into next-generation stretchable devices, intelligent robotics, and other advanced applications.
