Abstract

C8-BTBT, an organic semiconductor known for its high mobility and excellent crystallinity, was used to grow single crystals by precisely controlling the solvent evaporation rate. Micro-patterns were created using the Selective Contact Evaporation Printing (SCEP) technique, where a prism-shaped PDMS mold selectively absorbed and diffused C8-BTBT molecules to induce aligned crystal structures. By adjusting parameters such as pressure, temperature, and annealing time, patterns with various widths and depths were achieved. Moreover, repeated use of the same PDMS mold enabled the formation of multi-patterned structures without performance loss. This high-resolution, low-cost, and low-temperature patterning method offers great potential for producing high-density organic transistor devices. The approach is not only scalable and reusable but also compatible with flexible electronics, demonstrating its value in next-generation organic semiconductor processing technologies
