Abstract

The advancement of wearable electronics demands energy storage devices with high power density and long cycle stability. Micro-supercapacitors are promising candidates due to their excellent rate capability and long cycle life. However, conventional photolithography-based fabrication limits scalability and structural flexibility. Herein, we fabricated micro-supercapacitors via DIW 3D printing of three-layered carbon black electrodes, allowing precise integration of electrode architectures with tunable geometries. we systematically varied the inter-line gap and active area. The device with a 0.3 mm gap and 0.5 cm² area exhibited the highest areal capacitance, reaching 0.62 mF/cm² during cyclic voltammetry at a scan rate of 100 mV/s. These results highlight the potential of 3D printing-based patterning as a scalable and flexible fabrication platform for next-generation microscale energy storage devices.
