Abstract
To overcome the stability issue, many studies are reported with all inorganic materials in the perovskite solar cells. However, Cs (for the A cation) based metal halide perovskite shows an unstable character at the room humidity. The instability of Cs based metal halide perovskite is commonly known to be related to the degradation of perovskite structure, i.e. decomposition of perovskite. Here, we elucidate the mechanism of degradation process of Cs based metal halide perovskite light harvester. The degradation process is strongly related to the bonding interaction at the interface between perovskite and the substrate. Various bonding interactions are included at the interfaces, in this case, week bonding propagates the decomposition of perovskite crystals. To deeply understand the insights on the mechanism, we introduced the interlayer at the interface, so the interlayer improves the strengths of bonding interactions and inhibit the propagation of decomposition process.
