Abstract
At the beginning of the 21st century our world is facing serious problems with regards to environment, climate, energy, raw materials, water and food. All these global problems are seeking scientific solutions, especially from electrochemistry and chemical processes, and in this connection scale-up science of fundamental observations based on reasonable hypothesis is of tremendous importance. In this presentation I shall intend to introduce a number of our electrocatalytic approaches for less power consumption in electrochemical water splitting, carbon dioxide conversion/utilization(e-CCUs), and ammonia synthesis/decomposition applying anion exchange membrane.1-5 Considering build-up of ideal interfacial structure to overcome mass-transfer limitation more energy production from alkaline fuel cells and Li-S battery together with AI machine learning will be explained.6
