연구중점 외국인교원 International research professors needed at Yeungnam University in Gyeongsan, Korea Job Openings Yeungnam University is seeking qualified, responsible native English-speaking professors to work in Gyeongsan, Korea. 1. Job Title: International Research Professor 2. Teaching Subjects - Polymer Materials & Chemistry 3. Period of Contract - March 1, 2013 to February 28, 2014 or March 1, 2013 to February 28, 2015 4. Teaching Loads & Semesters - 3 credit hours per week during the 15 weeks of the spring or fall semester 5. Requirements & Qualifications - The applicant must have a doctorate degree in Polymer Materials & Chemistry major. Within the last three years, the applicant must have two published articles as a principal author or a corresponding author available through one of the following international journal citation indexes: SCI, SSCI, A&HCI, or SCI-E. - Applicants will work with a Korean professor to research and publish journal articles 6. Salary & Benefits - A monthly salary of 2,000,000. - Overtime pay: 25,000 an hour. Note: overtime is determined by work performed per contract year, not per semester. - Housing: A university-owned apartment will be provided. If not, you will be provided with the housing support of 450,000 per month. - Incentive pay: For published articles available through one of the following international journal citation indexes: SCI, SSCI, A&HCI, or SCI-E as a principal author or a corresponding author while employed at Yeungnam, professors are compensated from 1,000,000 to 4,000,000 per article. - Health insurance and Pension: 50/50 from the university and the professor. * Application & Deadline - Required Documents before "Interview" Scheduled: 1) A cover letter (as a letter of self-introduction) 2) A resume with the applicant's photograph attached.
